Japanese composer Toru Fuyuki, famous for the iconic theme song of "Ultraseven," passed away from aspiration pneumonia at 89. Born in northeastern China, he honed his craft at Elisabeth University of Music and Kunitachi College of Music before making waves in the Japanese TV scene.

After starting at Radio Tokyo in 1956, he exploded onto the music scene with "Kurama Tengu." Leaving in 1961, he crafted scores for Tsuburaya Productions, earning the title "Father of Ultra Music" for his unforgettable compositions, including a powerful male chorus for "Return of Ultraman." His legacy includes choral works and years of teaching at Toho Gakuen School of Music.
