Tokyo area traffic may be disrupted by snow starting Sunday.

Listen up, folks! We've got some serious snow aiming to crash the party in central and eastern Japan from Sunday to Monday. The Japan Meteorological Agency is saying a low-pressure system is rolling in, and it’s gonna blanket the mountains and even hit places like Tokyo. That's right, the city’s 23 wards are in for some snow, and let’s just say, it's about to get slippery out there.

They’re warning us about possible traffic mayhem with icy roads. JR East is prepping for potential train delays and cancellations, so keep your plans flexible! If you're hitting the road, the Metropolitan Expressway is shouting out for everyone to put those snow tires on. We’re looking at a solid 20 cm in Koshin and a solid mix of 10 cm in places like Chichibu and Hakone. Stay warm and stay safe out there!
