A recent Citizen Watch survey reveals that only 11.5% of Japanese working adults sleep five hours or less a night, down from 22.8% in 1999.

This improvement is attributed to shorter working hours and more flexible work styles. The survey also found that 52.4% of respondents now sleep seven hours or more, a significant increase from 27.0% in 1999. 🛌💤
