Don’t sweat it! The beloved Moyai statue in Shibuya has just shifted to a new spot. Shibuya is always buzzing with change, and while the iconic Hachiko statue has been holding it down since 1934, finding someone in those crowds can feel like hunting for a needle in a haystack.

Now, the Moyai statue has been relocated as part of Shibuya Station’s redevelopment. Don’t panic; it’s not gone for good! A notice encourages you to “Search for MOYAI Statue!”—complete with a map to help you out. Although it’s just a hop away from the old site, it’s tucked a bit out of the way, making it less convenient as a meet-up spot, especially before hitting the local fun. So, for now, Hachiko’s still the big dog while Moyai’s chilling in the background, waiting for its chance to shine again!
