Santa project delivers donated books to Noto children.

Alright, folks, listen up! We’ve got some incredible volunteers dressed as Santa Claus gearing up to spread some holiday cheer. They’ll be delivering donated books as Christmas gifts to kids, including those on the Noto Peninsula hit hard by an earthquake this New Year’s Day.

This great initiative, known as the "Book Santa" project, has volunteers bringing books to children aged zero to 18 facing tough times—whether it’s poverty, illness, or natural disasters. With the motto, "You Could Become Santa Claus for Someone," a whopping 1,868 bookstores across all 47 prefectures are collecting donations until Wednesday. Time to make some magic happen!
