Despite its hardworking image, Japan might lead in quiet quitting.
Statistics released indicate that Japan is a frontrunner in quiet quitting, showing that the stories of workers mentally disengaging are not mere myths.
According to Gallup’s State of the Global Workplace report, only 6% of Japanese workers are engaged, one of the lowest rates globally, while a third of the workforce is either job hunting or seeking new opportunities.
