So, picture this: Japan’s snowy landscapes are brought to life with these stunning Pokéfuta, or "Pokélids," adorned with Pokémon that represent local culture. Our man Seiji Nakazawa was four stations away from the most celebrated one in Hokkaido, known as the "most overprotected manhole" in Japan. He hopped on a train, feeling like an explorer in this frosty wonderland, where just one train rolled by each hour!

When he arrived at Pippu Station, it was eerily silent with all that pristine snow. Seiji even tried serenading the wildlife, but they were nowhere to be found. After wandering, he spotted the Pokéfuta peeking out from under the snow, protected by a tent and shovels with a warning not to neglect it. This charming site not only warms your heart but is an adventurous stop for all Pokémon fans. And there’s even a cozy café to relax while you wait for the next train!
