Osaka Expo to offer same-day tickets, says Ishiba.
Prime Minister Ishiba announced same-day ticket sales for the 2025 Osaka World Expo to simplify purchasing and boost attendance.

Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba just announced that the 2025 World Expo in Osaka will offer same-day admission tickets. This comes after feedback about how complicated the advance ticket process was. People can now enjoy the Expo without having to plan way ahead, making it easier to just show up and have a good time.
Tickets will be available for purchase daily in front of the entrance. Plus, the "season" pass will now be discounted for early visitors, priced at ¥24,000 instead of ¥30,000. No more restrictions on entry after 11 a.m.—that’s gone too! These changes are all about boosting ticket sales, which had fallen short at just 56.2% of the target. It looks like they’re trying to turn things around and make Expo '25 more accessible for everyone.
