Measles case confirmed at Kansai International Airport, caution advised.
A woman with measles traveled through Kansai Airport, prompting health officials to warn recent visitors to monitor their health.

If you were at Kansai Airport in Osaka earlier this month, you might want to monitor your health because things just got serious. On February 14, a woman from Aichi Prefecture felt hot—sadly, not due to Valentine’s vibes but because of measles symptoms. After developing a fever, rash, and cough, her infection was confirmed on February 21. She's currently hospitalized, and the kicker? She traveled through Kansai Airport after coming back from Vietnam.
Now, here's where it gets even trickier. She took a bus to the airport around noon, chilled in Terminal 1 for two and a half hours, and later stayed at a nearby hotel. This incident marks Osaka Prefecture's second measles case this year—just days later another child, under 10, was diagnosed with no vaccination history. Health officials are urging anyone who was at the airport or nearby locations around those dates to keep an eye on their health for the next few weeks and see a doctor if symptoms arise.
