McDonald's launches Pokémon Happy Meals in the U.S., not Japan.
McDonald's U.S. is offering Pokémon Happy Meals with Dragon-type packaging, mini posters, stickers, and a booster pack of trading cards.

Yo, listen up! They're back at it again—McDonald's and Pokémon are teaming up for some epic Pokémon Happy Meals right here in the U.S.! Last summer we were all about those Japanese meals, but now it’s our turn. These boxes are rocking four Dragon-types: Charizard, Dragonite (with Pikachu), Legendary Rayquaza, and Roaring Moon.
But hold up! These meals don't come with traditional toys. Instead, you get a mini poster and stickers, plus a booster pack for the Pokémon Trading Card Game—four cards selected from 15 different options. And if you’re savvy enough to order through the app, you score in-game rewards for Pokémon TCG Pocket, including two digital booster packs and an extra card! Don’t sleep on this; the Happy Meals drop on January 21 and are only here for a limited time while supplies last!
