A 76-year-old man, Hirohito Shibuya, died before a court ruling on his sexual assault case, suspected of suicide.

A 76-year-old man, Hirohito Shibuya, was found dead a day before a court was set to rule on his sexual assault case. His wife discovered him unresponsive at their home in Tokyo, calling for help, but he was pronounced dead an hour later, and it's believed he died by suicide.

Shibuya was arrested in February for allegations of constructive forcible sexual intercourse with a girl under 20. At the time, he lived with his wife, eight former wives, and three kids. Interestingly, a former wife connected to his case also died in an apparent suicide last December. The accusations included him coercing the girl with bizarre threats about aliens, taking advantage of her vulnerability.
