Kanagawa student arrested for credit card theft.
A 17-year-old student was arrested for illegally obtaining credit card information and creating a program to facilitate the process.

A 17-year-old high school student from Kanagawa has been arrested for illegally obtaining credit card information. The student, who goes to school in Isehara, created a program to verify credit card validity and used it to steal info from six cards last summer. He even shared stolen credentials with others in a chat group on May 20.
This chat group on Telegram had around 100 members, exchanging stolen credit card details and tips. Our guy uploaded a program letting users input details from about 7,000 stolen credit cards. Police discovered it all during a cyber patrol, and it’s worth noting that two other members were arrested last year for buying luxury watches with stolen info. Meanwhile, Gifu police nabbed a 16-year-old part-timer involved in the same scheme. Stay tuned for more developments!
