Alright, listen up! In 2022, Japan said they were gonna ramp up startup investment by 10 times in five years. Yeah, sounds ambitious, right? But hold up—things aren’t going as planned!

Since then, startup investments have been dropping faster than my phone battery on a long flight. They’re barely scratching the surface of that ¥10 trillion target for 2027, which translates to about $63 billion in a single year. They’ve got a long way to go, folks!
