Japanese motorhome evokes bubble-era Tokyo bar, now for sale.
A Japan-based company has created a retro-style mobile lounge, called Fusion, reminiscent of 1980s bars in a Toyota HiAce van.

Picture this: a 1980s Ginza lounge has been stuffed into the back of a motor home, or as they say in Japan, a “kyanpingu kaa.” It’s a unique twist, considering Japanese vehicles are typically smaller. It's less about calling it a home and more about the vibe—today’s focus is a van that’s more like a mobile, bubble-era bar.
Step inside this Toyota HiAce called the Fusion, and it’s like taking a time machine back to the late '70s. With a gleaming chandelier overhead and rich, wine-red walls, it exudes luxury. The checkered floors? Perfect for couples in shoulder pads dancing to city pop hits. It’s surprisingly modern under the retro glam—solar panels, a cozy sofa that converts to a bed, and a chic galley with marble surfaces. Best part? You can snag this blast from the past for 13.2 million yen (around $87,500).
