Japanese business leaders meet Chinese vice premier.

So check this out! In Beijing, Kosei Shindo, head of the Japan-China Economic Association, is leading a Japanese business delegation for a six-day trip. They met with Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng to chat about deepening ties between Japan and China. Masakazu Tokura, from the Japan Business Federation, and Ken Kobayashi, from the Japan Chamber of Commerce, are right there with him pushing for more dialogue.

They’re not just kicking tires—recent events, including new U.S. tariffs, have made it clear that communication is vital. Shindo emphasized it’s key for both governments and companies to keep talking. This trip continues a long tradition since 1975, even though COVID hit the brakes for a bit. Now they’re back at it, hoping to strengthen those business connections!
