Japan university students accepting job offers declines.
In Japan, 84.3% of graduating university students accepted job offers, marking the first decline in four years.

So, check this out: 84.3% of job-seeking university students in Japan have accepted informal job offers as they gear up to graduate in March. That’s a tiny dip of 1.7 percentage points from last year—the first drop in four years. It seems like some students are playing the field with multiple offers, unsure of who to go with.
Breaking it down, the acceptance rate amongst male students dropped to 83.3%, and female students saw a decline to 85.5%. Humanities and social science majors fell to 84.2%, while science majors dropped slightly to 85.0%. On a regional note, the Kanto area, which includes Tokyo, saw a rise to 91.2%, while other regions dipped between 0.2 and 5.2 points. Interesting trends, right?
