This month, Japan's international tourism industry is wrapping up a spectacular year. We're talking about a jaw-dropping ¥44.6 trillion ($291.5 billion) boost to the economy, showing a 5.7% increase over the previous record in 2019.

But wait, there’s more! Employment in the sector is projected to hit over 6 million jobs, which is 200,000 more than before. And those international visitors?
