The weather agency in Japan dropped some serious news on us—last year was officially the hottest ever recorded. That's right! We’re over here sweating like it's a sauna because of those skyrocketing greenhouse gas emissions fueling climate change.
And just when you thought it couldn't get worse, the U.N. is saying that 2024 is shaping up to be even hotter. Crazy, right? Across Japan, temperatures shot up by 1.48 degrees Celsius above the 1991-2020 average. Looks like Mother Nature is really turning up the heat on us!
