Japan hot spring town restricts day visitors.

So, Ginzan Onsen, this super picturesque Japanese hot spring town, is trying to tackle **overtourism** this winter. They’re drawing a line on day-trippers. Starting Monday, only hotel guests can chill there after 8 p.m. If you want to pop in between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., better book a reservation. It's like, you can’t just roll up with a camera and a dream anymore, folks!

With **330,000 visitors** each year, the place has been a hotspot, but it’s facing serious issues like **traffic jams** and even emergency vehicles getting stuck because people are hitting the slopes with regular tires instead of snow ones. It can get **dangerous** out there, as visibility drops during snowstorms. Until the end of February, day-trippers have to park 2 kilometers away and catch a shuttle bus. They've struggled to keep things under control due to the surge in visitors this year, breaking records as tourism rebounds!
