Listen up! Gas prices in Japan just hit ¥185.10 per liter, the highest in 17 months. That's up ¥4.40 just this week. The government cut subsidies for oil wholesalers, and now every prefecture, all 47 of 'em, has seen a price jump, with some hitting over ¥190. Kochi is leading the pack at ¥193.60, while Iwate's the lowest at ¥177.80.
