How to Save Your Seat in Japan... with Your Wallet
Japan has just 327 thefts per 100,000 people.
I was sitting in a busy café in Akihabara, Tokyo. Seats were hard to come by.
I look to my left and see a wallet sitting on top of the table in front of a seat. Strange. Clearly it was intentional. How would you lose your wallet in front of your nose?
Not a minute later he returns, puts the wallet in his pocket, sits, and gets back to his tea... DID THIS MAN JUST SAVE HIS SEAT WITH HIS WALLET?!?!?
