Haneda Airport offers a mobile tea ceremony for a peaceful start or finish to your Japan trip.
A bilingual tea ceremony event at Haneda Airport aims to showcase traditional Japanese culture to international travelers on March 2.

Get ready for a taste of traditional Japan right at Haneda Airport! This bilingual event, hosted by tea master Machiko Hoshina, will introduce travelers to the majestic tea ceremony on March 2. Located in the Haneda Airport Garden, you can catch a 45-minute ceremony between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are just 15,000 yen (about $99), so it’s a perfect way to dive into Japanese culture before you head out.
What’s cool? They’re using the Mobile Chashitsu, a quick-to-set-up tea room made from sustainable materials, making the ceremony accessible for everyone, even internationally. With Hoshina conducting the event in both English and Japanese, first-timers will feel right at home. So if you're passing through, make some time for this unique experience before your flight!
