A 76-year-old instructor teaches 17 seniors in Tokyo how to use smartphones in a hands-on session for beginners.
At a recent event in Tokyo’s Suginami Ward, 76-year-old instructor Hiroshi Nomura kicked things off by teaching seniors how to use their smartphones. He starts with the basics, pointing out the power button and saying, “Press it for two or three seconds and release when you see a blue light.”
Hiroshi's got that friendly vibe, guiding the 17 participants to try it out themselves. He emphasizes that “unlike televisions, smartphones take time to get up and running because they’re driven by programs, just like PCs.” This isn’t just tech; it’s a whole new world for these seniors!
