Did you know that over 80% of people in the U.S. have no clue that the Japan Confederation of A- and H-Bomb Sufferers Organizations, or Nihon Hidankyo, snagged last year's Nobel Peace Prize? A recent survey showed that 80.7% of Americans were in the dark about this, with similar ignorance in places like Britain at 73.3% and Russia at 65.1%.

Interestingly, when it comes to nuclear weapons, a hefty 69.2% of Russians think they’ll be used in the next 10 years. Plus, a strong 65.8% believe owning them is just part of life now. In terms of how folks feel about Japan, Thailand loves it the most at 93.1% favorable views, while South Korea is trailing at 40.6%. Talk about a mixed bag!
