7-Eleven Japan collaborates with gourmet Mochizuki-san manga for bingeable food line.

So, 7-Eleven Japan teamed up with the gourmet manga Dokagui Daisuki! Mochizuki-san on February 18th, and you know expectations were sky-high. It’s about this girl, Mochizuki, who binge-eats high-calorie foods at night for that sweet bliss. Our man Ahiruneko couldn’t resist the temptation and bought the whole set of promotional food items during a casual convenience store run, even though he planned to walk out empty-handed.

He tried the four items, including two rice balls that didn’t quite knock his socks off. The pork and curry rice ball was decent, but he wanted a flavor explosion. Then came the bento boxes, and boy, were they heavy hitters! The butter pilaf and demi-glace chicken cutlet bento weighed in at 1,111 calories and tasted like a glorious mess of carbs. But it was the fatty garlic mayo karaage and peperoncino bento that stole the show, hitting 1,298 calories! That killer garlic flavor had him dreaming of Mochizuki-san bliss. So yeah, if you’re hunting for gastronomic happiness, these dishes did not disappoint—indulge wisely, though!
